In my childhood I used to hang around the ZX spectrum with my brothers and wondered how those tiny dots on screen could make such amazing worlds. With the years those dots would gain volume and an entirely new perspective with 3D rendering would arrive, making it altogether more fascinating.
My interest in technology and photography allowed to further develop my artistic skills, which unexpectedly crossed over to videogames. Unsurprisingly, it felt like a natural process to me.

Developed in collaboration with my friend Marco Leal & assembled in Unreal in partnership with Level Designer Rogério Silva.
The aim with this project was to create a strong organic game environment based on ancient civilizations, fusing traditional architecture and iconic decorative elements from Africa and Asia.
Modeled in 3D Studio Max, detailed in Mudbox and Zbrush and Textured in Adobe Photoshop.
